Steeple Ashton FC 3-2 Calne United FC

Ashton Claim The Spoils In Close Match

A tight match in Division 2 saw Steeple Ashton claim the spoils as they recorded a 3-2 victory over Calne United.

The sides went in at half time with it pretty much in the balance, Ashton holding the slender advantage thanks to goals by James Reeves and Fedi Fourhali wedged around an Adam Welch finish for Calne United.

And it remained a close encounter with Ashton ultimately holding the edge as despite Dean Fry scoring another for United, Stefan Brinzaru ensured the points stayed with Ashton for a 3-2 scoreline at the final whistle.

The Pewsham FC 1-7 Old Road FC

Poor Pewsham Undone By Old Road

The Pewsham recorded another loss, this time at the hands of Old Road who look to be putting a run together which will put them in the promotional places at the business end of the season.

Strangely all 8 goals came in the first 45 minutes and they were scored by Seamus Mooney(3), Sam van Weenan(2) & Ollie Wells(2) with Luke Hackett scoring The Pewsham’s reply.

FC Box P-P Kingfisher FC

The match between FC Box & Kingfisher FC did not survive the weather.
